Trixie and the Snowman

In the middle of a cold, winter, evening a girl named Trixie was building a snowman. She made the snowman by using a carrot nose, a warm, woolly and scratchy hat and stone eyes and a stone smile. It was glorious, underneath the glowing moon. Trixie jumped up and down with joy.

Suddenly the snowman came to life! Trixie couldn’t stop grinning. Then the friendly saw his stick fingers reflecting on a fence by a light, he realized he could make a shadow puppet. The snowman made his hands into a bird which flew away as the snowman told the story of what the bird could see. Trixie gasped as she saw a man on a horse jumping over a chasm. The snowman’s hand then made and an umbrella, underneath the umbrella two people fell in love. Trixie was shocked.

Suddenly the snowman started melting! Trixie hand an idea and wheeled the snowman in a red trolley to a freezer.

Each night she would visit him to get another shadow story. This continued for years. But as she got older Trixie needed less stories and that made the snowman sad. Also, the fridge got blocked over time.

Then one night in the winter at work a lady about forty-two years old named Trixie spilled her coffee and looked at the snow globe reflecting on the wall by a lamp. Quickly, she grabbed her jacket and rushed home to see the snowman. Then the snowman told stories to Trixie and her daughter and after that every night in the winter she came home to see her daughter to get another story.
